Although daisies may not be toxic to cats, they may cause unpleasant side effects, including vomiting and diarrhea. In extreme cases, cats can even suffer internal bleeding. If you accidentally let your cat eat a single daisy blossom, it won’t cause any problems, but if a cat consumes several daisies in a day, it can cause serious problems.
If your cat is indoors, don’t plant daisies in the garden unless you have a strict supervision policy. However, if your cat is outdoors, you can plant daisies in your yard as long as you keep them out of reach. If you can’t prevent your pet from eating daisies, you should consider placing a small fence around them to prevent them from getting to them.
