Finnigan Sparks Book Review

Daisy reveals that she’s a cashier at the Surv-N-Sav and an avid reader of the Finnigan Sparks series. She and Isabel are planning to spend the first week of summer in Key West at a book signing for Ash Bentley.

When Miles and Daisy meet for the first time in Her Royal Highness, Daisy helps Amelia get comfortable in a social scene she’s not used to, being from America. She later tries to set up a fake relationship between Miles and Isabel after the Queen tells her that it will be the best way to silence the rumors of a romance between Prince Sebastian and Daisy. Miles jokes that it’s not better than a sword to the eye, but Daisy decides to go along with it because she doesn’t want Amelia to have any more problems.

While they’re standing outside a refreshments tent, a photographer yells for them to kiss and Daisy panics. She pushed him away and accidentally smashed a tray of champagne glasses. Miles apologizes and kisses her back.

Daisy meets Miles again the next day at a dinner with the Princesses and is surprised by how flirty he is. Miles explains that he’s been hurt in the past and doesn’t expect to find someone who can understand him. He hints that he’s also attracted to her and she blushes. Daisy decides to make a fresh start with him. Miles promises to treat her right and reminds her that she shouldn’t be afraid to love.
