Learn Some Basic Daisies Guitar Chords

A number of songs in a guitarist’s repertoire are built using the use of a couple of basic guitar chords. One of these chords is the G major chord, and this can be seen in songs such as: Let it Go, Mr. Tambourine Man, Blowin’ in the Wind, Brown Eyed Girl, Gloria, I’m a Believer, One Sunday Night, You Are My Sunshine, A Day I Love You, Blowin’ In The Wind, The Sea And Salt, Hotel California, and Purple Haze. These songs all use the G major chord to highlight the fast-changing melody of the music. Many times the G chord is notated by using a chromatic scale that has the major and minor thirds, making for an interesting sound when the guitar is plucked.

Another popular chord found in a guitarists’ arsenal is the D major chord. This chord is found in songs such as: Angie by Creedence Clearwater Revival, Thank God I’m a Country Boy, Maggie Mae by Boz Scaggs, Wonderful Tonight, Just a Little Time, Tears in Heaven, and Purple Haze. The D major chord is often notated by using a flat note, making it a very interesting sound on the guitar. Some common variations of the D major chord are D diminished, E flat, A flat, G-flat, A diminished, and B flat.

All of the guitar chords that have been listed above can be found in many popular songs by many popular musicians.
