Marvel Comics – The Agents of Shield

The Daisies are an unlikely trio: incredibly fragile (some would say, petite), extremely wispy flying creatures that are trained to protect humanity from villains. In the comic book world, though, they are actually members of the superhuman aerial squad, The Avengers. With the destruction of their home planet, the Inhumanoids are stranded on Earth, intent on picking up the pieces and beginning new lives. There, they become the allies of the Avengers and the protector of the Marvel Universe, but can they win the fight against evil? Can the team of young, super-strong people, made up of the classic characters Iron Man, Thor, The Hulk, Spider-Man, and Wolverine, be the champions they were meant to be?

Daisy Johnson, better known as Quake, is an imaginary super hero appearing in American cartoon comics released by Marvel Comics. She is the daughter of the late hero, Ant Man, and the younger half-sister of the late hero, Wasp. She is an extraordinary young woman, with a strong connection to her powers and an uncanny ability to regenerate healthily from damage. Daisy’s father, a scientist gone bad, developed a serum that allows her to heal wounds quickly; but, after years of experimenting, he developed a chemical that causes massive damage to her body when she is in direct contact.

While joining the Avengers is a happy, if somewhat awkward, time for Daisy, her attraction to the more compassionate human personalities of the team proves too much for The Avengers to handle, and she is forced out of her comfortable life as a Sky Squirrel in the comic book world. Relocating to New York, where she becomes the first female member of the Avengers, she quickly discovers she has abilities far beyond what she could have imagined, and is quickly herself a part of the team. She also develops a romance with one of the Avengers’ originals, Vision, while learning to control her psion energy so she can use it to cure others.
