Oliver Heldens Remixes Katy Perry’s Daisy Remix

With over 90 million streams in less than a month since its release, Katy Perry’s anthemic new single daisies has already made waves around the globe. A resilient, empowering tune that was hailed by Rolling Stone as ‘anthemic’, it is no surprise the track has been one of this year’s biggest hits so far. With her soaring vocal talent shining through, daisies was made for a high-energy remix. That’s why her label called on Rotterdam’s finest, Oliver Heldens to step up to the challenge. Known for his signature sound, he delivers an explosive rendition blending the original’s pop sensibilities with his own distinctive sound. A tight house beat is met head-on by a rubbery, elastic bassline in his rework, paired perfectly with Perry’s dulcet verse vocals and warm synth chords. Her cries of “Daisies!” are lifted higher and higher with every twist, drop and explosion of the melody.
