A sweet floral fragrance for women with a fruity and slightly woody scent, it has been around since 2007 and inspired several flankers, including the delightful Daisy Dream and the effervescent Daisy Love. Daisy is a perfume for the girl who likes to have fun, and its charming bottle with daisies adorned on top is what makes it one of the most recognisable perfumes in the world.
The scent opens with crisp grapefruit and kind of synthetic (but soft) strawberry, with the heart comprising a light blend of violet and jasmine petals and a little bit of gardenia. The dry down is a gentle woody bouquet with just a touch of musk. It’s a perfume that feels very youthful, and it’s no surprise that it was an instant hit when it came out.
A bright and airy version of the original Daisy, this fragrance is inspired by a girl who’s free-spirited and full of energy. The fruity and floral aromas come from a combination of crystalized cloudberries and bergamot at the top, a floral citrus heart of jasmine and violet petals with a base of feminine cashmere musk and driftwood. The fragrance was developed by master perfumer Alberto Morillas.
The Marc Jacobs Daisy fragrance is available in 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette sprays, as well as matching body products such as a shower gel, lotion and body butter. The scent is part of the brand’s Floral Fruity Gourmand collection and is sold at all major department stores.
