Daisy Zhang is a Managing Director at the American Exchange Group, where she leads product development and production operations. She has extensive experience in manufacturing and quality control in a wide variety of industries, including wearables, jewelry, and textiles. She is a strong believer in leveraging cross-functional collaboration to achieve organizational goals. Prior to her role at AEG, she was the program manager for kids’ pajamas at Basically Kids and a product coordinator for textile production at Threadtex Inc.
In Greek mythology, the daisy is said to be Odysseus’s mother’s flower, which gives them a connection to innocence and new beginnings. In addition, they are a symbol of happiness and cheerfulness, which is why you often hear the phrase “fresh as a daisy.” Daisy’s bright yellow centers also remind us of sunshine and summer.
Trained in public health, Dr. Zhang’s research focuses on designing, implementing, and evaluating mental health and community healthcare intervention programs and conducting epidemiological studies and systematic reviews. In particular, she is interested in how to use technological tools for holistic care and well-being.
